Lucky was born in poplar bluff on April 23, 2001. He is much loved and will always be remembered by all his friends and family.Your Father Herbert McCaig Jr. loved you with all his heart. And his family did to. Losing you took a piece out of us we will never be able to fix back.

He was a happy child, he loved tractors.He loved to play outside. He loved his Family.His Father and his father family loved him with all of our hearts.
I miss your famous smiles,
And your carefree laugh,
I miss your wacky outfits,
And the shoes that never matched.
I miss all the drawings,
And the "Can I go with you's?"
I missed the way you hugged me,
And said "I love you too"
I miss hearing about your day,
And picking out tomorrows clothes,

The excitement was never far!

You see now, i know about this little boy, this is just a chaptor in his short life story, for there are many more yuo see, but i keep them within me, cause that is all i have left. I raised this little boy on my own, no help from no one, I am sorry for the way this turned out for Herbert & Diane, you see, cause they were the only ones from that side of the family who REALLY loved this child, when i took him to meet them at the age of 2 they took us in with no questions asked, and i am truly sorry for that. to the rest of yall, he was 2 when he met you, hadn't seen yall in 3 years, and he was six, do the math 2+3=5. So, put me down , if it makes you feel better, i took him to yall, i shouldn't have to call everytime i thought yall might like to see him, as i was told from yall, you knew where i was, not my fault you never got to know this incredibly bright little boy,but if yall feel need to point blame to ease your own guilty conscience, then feel free.. May god be with all of you.

Mom misses you "Captain Jack"
In Lucas' first year of kindergarten, we had alot of trouble, for Lukie was a little highstrung, he put his all into everything that he did, and there was no limit to what he could and WOULD do. I got a call from his school one day, i got several calls from his school that year, anyways they informed me that Lukie was suspended from the bus indefinatly, when i asked why, they told me that he had hijacked the bus on the way home from school.. He had jumped up on the drivers lap, and proceeded to take over the steering wheel, when she finally got him off of her lap, he tried to shift the gears, i know to some people, this is dangerous, and he did get in trouble for it, but when they were telling me this, i had to stifle my laughter, i didn't ever let him see me laugh. But it was a classic and thought i would share, miss you baby, and i will never forget "donny the retard"..
